Our church is a church of light. Whatever the day, or the time of day, we want to be a beacon of light to our community.

You see, we have a message of incredible hope. God loved us so much that He shone His Light into our world. He came to save a lost, hopeless, and dying world.

Jesus is alive! He overcame the grave, and we too can share in the wonder of Christ's resurrection. There is nothing too difficult or impossible for our God.

Because of Christ, light fills our church, and more importantly, our hearts. Now we want to share the good news with everyone around us -- whether it be in a church building, in an office complex, or on a street corner.

UBC has always been a church of hope. We have fed countless numbers of needy people, prayed with people on the street, shared the good news at Gay Games VII, and will be a light at this year's Taste of Chicago.

Best of all, this is just the beginning. More hope is on the way!
